Second Semester...

Well tonight is the last night before the spring semester starts.  Holy cow, time has flown!!! I realize now that I am no longer just visiting NKU anymore, I legitimately go there! haha I use to feel like I was in High School still... or rather, that I hadn't changed since the good ole CCHS-- but as time goes on, I see that not only is everything changing, I am as well.  It's not a bad thing, change is good (I feel like we touched base on this in my first or second blog entry, oh well) It's a hairflip, really.  We all are afraid of where our lives may take us, and by afraid, I mean curious.  It's natural to be frightened or worried, but we must enjoy the present time, the time we have now.  Once again, my grandmother's recent death has taught me this.
So, as tomorrow is my first day of my last semester as a freshman, I realize that we must be open-minded.  I know that sometimes we get a variety pack of mixed signals, but we must stay open-minded and not over analyze.  Wow... and now I'm getting off on a personal tangent, about me... As a girl, yes, I know-- we over analyze things way too much.  I've had this conversation with many guys and girls, it's true.  We over analyze, and boys sometimes "under" analyze, if that makes sense?  Oh well, I'm just realizing more, that sometimes I need to step back-take a breath-and not worry so much.  (Ashley and I were just talking about all of this.) I mean I want to be a billionaire so freaking bad, but our time will come, right? hahah I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. hhaha Does this cutesy-ness get me anywhere? With these pop references?  Oh well.  It's just a hot mess up in hurr. Maybe it's due to the fact that my hair was looking extra flat today. ewww notme.com/whereisthefrizz?? ANYWAYS.... wow, I need to control myself with those fake URL's. ahha.
Anywho... "The plastics are back in session" as Matty so truly put it.  I'll be in "The Bux" all day mostly, like ush.(usual). Sipping some coffee, chatting, and def. Facebook creeping.  It'll be great to be back in the swing of things, and catching up with friends after the Winter "holiday". Too many British shows for me. Yumm. But I do love Skins.  Thanks Jon. :) But I mean, I still have no idea what outfit I'm wearing, and that my dear friend is a crucial part of our education. Duh!  But I'll pull it together in the morn' and maybe I'll post a pic of it?  I think I'll do like an outfit of the day kinda blog entry too... what do you think?  Hope you loves it, duh.
So I mean, the gang will be all back together... and by gang, I mean me and my gays, plus others.  And I mean that in the most loving way possible.  Do NOT take offense... I have a lot of homosexual friends, but it's no big deal, they know who they are.  And we have the upmost fetch time together.  So, I'm sure Facebook will be bombarded with new pictures of us on our first day back-- naturally.  :)
I'll miss my friends whom I got to visit while they were home, we had a lot of fun.  But now I can't ever go back to The Levee without that darn Andrew. haha-- it's tradition. Have fun in LexVegas.  Ryan Double D and Danielle will have an awesome time soaking up each other's awesome-ness in The Ville... I hope to be visiting you all more often! :) It's sad to think that we wont see one another til like Spring Break or whatevs... but, I mean, there's always Skype and Facebook! wohoo thank goodness for modern technology!
So once again, I need to stop rambling.  Thank you A-Town! I'll be here all week (and by all week, I mean the rest of my life, or whenever I grow up and move away, or whenever I get rich or die trying-- ya know!) haha.
Love ya! ;)

the week in review-ish...

For days...

Well, I am terribly sorry that I haven't blogged in a couple of days.  I've been living life just a wee bit and hanging out with friends before we all go back to college. yuck.com/homework. hahah anyway, I've just been taking it easy. Being sassy, fabulous and loud-- as usual.  While we're catching up, I must also add that: My dear friend Andrew helped me come up with this whole blog idea, as well as the title. So kudos to him and his creative side, too bad it doesn't come with a rebellious side. ;) haha kidding.  But gosh, I'm really craving a cupcake with Matty and TyGab. What?! haha anyway... I get off on these random little tangents.  My apologies.
This week is the last week of winter break for me, before returning back to college. Yay! hahha But I do miss the socializing and Starbucks creeping, duh.  This week has been filled with thrifting, learning to walk fiercely in heels, as well as doing Beyonce hips properly.  This week consisted of surprise parties, ice cream cake with bits of cardboard, as well as dirty scrabble.  This week has also consisted of hair dying, not once, but twice. As well as Easy A, Paranormal Activity and Salt. Wow. A lot of movies.  This week consisted of hairflips, dollar burgers-- but not together; Large flowers, bottled water, gum balls, and proposals.  So basically, this week has been the bomb.com :)  Well, I mean naturally.  What else happened this week?  Who knows, I can't even keep track of what day it is.  But it's whatever.
I feel like I just keep rambling, I'm sorry.  I keep getting sidetracked... Going into Walmart tonight for a hot second, turned into like a hot hour. mmm. hahha. Anyway, I'm kind of just avoiding sleep because of Paranormal Activity, and I am way too lazy to get out of the bed and go potty-- it happens.  Too much?  Sorry.  I don't really know what to blog about.  My thoughts are all kinda jumbled, and I'm kinda just blahhh.... you know what I mean.  It's just that kind of a day.  We all have them. But I mean cheesecake and scary movies with some friends like Ry Guy and Andrew help.
I'll end this now before I bore you with rambling phrases and quotes.  "So in conclusion, talking makes me tired..." Gosh, I love VM-K!

OH MY GOODNESS, A SOMBRERO! :)

Worried Shoes...

Well, it seems as though I am laying in bed listening to the soothing sounds of Where The Wild Things Are.  A lot has been happening, and I'm not really sure what to do.  Really it's petty stuff, but even the little, almost pointless dramas of life can tear you up.  A friend of mine seems to think we're no longer friends, and it kinda hurts.  Friendship is a beautiful thing, and everyone needs it.  I was never faund on opening up to others, but I slowly let that fear go.  I want someone to tell me what a best friend is.  It used to be my mom, but then I tried to branch out and trust friends my own age, who were dealing with the same issues.  That didn't really get me anywhere.  I know that blogging about this won't really help, but it's what is on my mind.  I kind of wish I could rewind, rewind to when times were simpler.  When I was a young lass, and didn't have a care in the world, except for which crayon color would work best, and which Barbie I wanted to take with me to school.  A time when nap time was a requirement, and learning how to tie shoes was all the rage!  Although I enjoy this "adulthood", I sometimes wish I could be little again.  I really like being able to go out on the town, and crank up the music while riding around with friends.  I love people watching on campus, and gossiping in Starbucks.  But sometimes, when the drama and miscommunications get to be too much, I want to revert back to childhood.  I don't know what it is.  Being an adult is suppose to be free and uplifting, but I'm at a loss.  I've already had to grow up in so many ways, but also I am still such a naive child.  I don't mind it, actually.  Sometimes, I just wish people could be as happy and free as I try to be.  I know I'm not perfect.  I make mistakes, and I say stupid things.  I sometimes try too hard to please everyone, but excuse me for trying.  I'm sorry that you may think I have changed, but I hope it's for the best.  I hate losing friends, it's a fear of mine.  I also hate losing friends to stupid, pointless drama caused by Facebook or texting.  It also doesn't help that I listen to this sappy music by The XX, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, and the Where The Wild Things Are Soundtrack.  I miss the simple, sweet days of the summer too.  Although I hate the heat, times were easy: laying in the grass, reading, and listening to the wind chimes, or that lovely indie music on my ipod.  I know that we grow up, it's apart of life.  I know we lose ourselves sometimes, but I've tried really hard not to.  The pressure of being a young adult in college can be tough, but I know how to handle myself.  I am still the same Chanell, and I want people to know that.  My vocabulary may have changed, and I may wear a little more mascara, but I'm still me.  You may not see me for a month, but I would hope that you'd still see I'm the simple girl with a bow in my hair.  My hair may get bigger and frizzier, I may quote too much Very Mary-Kate, but I still am me.  Life has too many changes in it, don't worry about if I'll be different tomorrow.  I'll grow older with time, but my morals will still be the same.  Thank you very much, Alexander.  I hope that you would know this Jade is still the same.  I'm sorry for the time lost, but I still want to "laugh until we think we'll die..." and "watch things on VCR's".

So long 2010, Hello 2011...

Wow. I can't believe it, we made it... 1-1-11. ahhh, and just think the world is suppose to end next year! We'll see about that! Doubt it, well I mean-- I hope not.  Life is way to precious, and my friends and family mean way too much to me.
I would like to congratulate my friend, Kelly Schultz, she just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Gabriel! :)  I'd also like to thank my friends for dealing with our lame-ish New Year's Eve.  But I don't really think it matters about what you do for celebrations such as those, as long as you're with cool people who enjoy the company.  Getting our cars stuck (well, obviously I didn't get a car stuck, since I don't drive!) hahah.  Walking the random streets of Cincy, and dealing with my weird family.  But all was well, we rang in the New Year all the same.
Although I spent the first day of the New Year lounging around in my pj's, I'm completely okay with that!  sometimes spending time with your family, and being lazy is quite excellent.  At least I finally posted this blog, that Tyler, Ryan and others have been talking about.  I hope it will be as big of a success as we hoped.
I hope everyone had a splendid 2010, and here's to a fresh presh 2011!!! :)
